How we brought our staff and manager closer together over lunch
At Encon, we believe that our employees are our most valuable asset, and we want to foster a culture of open communication and collaboration with them. That is why we organised a ‘lunch with the CXO’ event. Every employee had the opportunity to sign up for this lunch, where Robin and Sandra had the chance to speak with eight of our colleagues.
The lunch took place on Friday 20 October 2023 at our head office in Bilzen, Limburg. The participants were selected at random from a pool of staff members who had expressed an interest in attending the event. They represented various departments and roles within our company.
The lunch was not only a delicious treat, but also a unique opportunity to ask questions, share insights and even add a touch of rebellion to the discussion. Our colleagues were eager to learn more about our company’s vision, strategy and goals, and how they can contribute to our sustainable growth in the future. They also shared their feedback, suggestions and challenges during the lunch.
The conversation was lively, engaging and inspiring, lasting over an hour. Participants enjoyed the informal atmosphere and the chance to get to know one another better.
We are delighted with the positive feedback we received from participants, and we are already looking forward to the next edition of this event, where other colleagues will have the chance to speak with two of our C-level executives.
